Terms of Service

Welcome to Bashertz. These Terms govern your use of the Bashertz website, app, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You must not be prohibited from using dating services under any applicable law. By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

You're responsible for the accuracy of what you put in your profile, for keeping your account secure, and for everything that happens through your account. Provide real, current information. Impersonation or falsifying your identity is prohibited.

3. Conduct

We expect you to be a mensch. The following are prohibited:

• Harassment, stalking, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind
• Sexually explicit content, solicitation, or commercial activity
• Spam, scams, phishing, or requests for money
• Using the Service for anything other than sincere dating
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or automated access to the Service
• Sharing another person's private content without their consent

Violations may result in removal of content, suspension, or permanent account termination without refund.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel any time from your account settings, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial periods.

5. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, text, prompts). By uploading, you grant Bashertz a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

6. Our Content and Service

Bashertz is licensed to you, not sold. We own the software, brand, and compilation of user content. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service.

7. Matching and Content Decisions

Our matching algorithm surfaces suggestions based on your preferences and compatibility signals, it doesn't guarantee meetings, relationships, or outcomes. You're responsible for your own decisions about who to meet and when.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued use poses a risk to the community.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is." We don't warrant that you'll find a match, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New York County, NY. You and Bashertz waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
